I decided to promote Latta's GoFundMe because virtually no one in the Liveaboard Sailboat group had donated - and I admired and respected what he did. I still do. In one day, I managed to raise over half of what his GoFundMe topped out at.
However, since then, he has purchased a new boat with the funds from the GoFundMe and stiffed the woman who gave him a boat to live on while he was supposed to be paying her off. He has denied all of this publicly, and has thrown out of the Liveaboard Sailboat group anyone who challenges his version of the truth, including me.
He has also called me a liar publicly. I do not tolerate that from anyone. Therefore, this blog.
